Admittedly, I don’t care for many pumpkin desserts aside from basic pumpkin pie. But I know many other people do. I mean ’tis the season for all foods and drinks pumpkin, right? Besides, this cream cheese pumpkin dip with gingersnaps really is a pumpkin pie dip since it tastes so similar to a pumpkin pie.
10 Minutes for This Cream Cheese Pumpkin Dip with Gingersnaps
It was 6:40 a.m. I still had to get both girls up, dressed, and ready to leave for day care/work by 7:15.
Annnnnnd…I still had to make a dish for our lunch potluck…with no plan whatsoever.
Ruh-roh!
Thank goodness for dips. They have saved me so many times.
And this rushed morning was no exception. I had some lightly sweetened cinnamon crackers I had picked up in the bakery area of our new Kroger Marketplace a few weeks before that I wanted to use. They seemed like they would make the perfect accompaniment to a pumpkin fluff recipe.
I quickly scanned Pinterest and saw a pumpkin dip recipe that seemed super easy, but I didn’t have the right ingredients on hand for any of them. I scanned my fridge and pantry and decided to make my own similar concoction using what I had.
By 6:45 my mixer was swirling in full force. A little of this. A little of that.

Ten minutes later, I had a creamy spicy-smelling pumpkin fluff ready to put in the work fridge to chill until lunch.
Thankfully, by 7:15 a.m. the girls and my pumpkin cream cheese dip were loaded in the car and ready to roll. Whew! Talk about cutting it close!
What Are the Best Crackers for Dips that are Savory?
What are the best crackers for dips like this that have a hint of spice? Of course, as our title suggests, we prefer this cream cheese pumpkin dip with gingersnaps!

This particular pumpkin pie dip is savory with a hint of spice. It also pairs nicely with a sweet cookie – like vanilla wafers – or nutty or textured crackers.

What is the measurement on the cream cheese?
The Gifted Gabber
Mary, my apologies. This recipe was written a long time ago, and I had not realized I didn’t have the measurements posted. I use the 8 ounce brick of cream cheese and the 8 ounce tub of Cool Whip. I will go back and add those measurements to the recipe card for clarification. Thanks!
