A Great Piece of Fiction I love it
by Madjic Thursday, March 2, 2017 9:33:13 PM
I love this story not only is it witty and gruesome but not so much as to throw it in your face. The erotica is unique but not what the story is based on and only a seasoning. The characters are unique and interseting and have there own life if you will it also feels like you never know whats next. I love this story and genuinly looking forward to the next chapter.
Thanks

Not for everyone! Ignore some chapters for sanity

To start off, this book is not for everyone. It is meant for very few, but if you can ignore some topics (Gore, kink, explicit content) then it is pretty good. I personally am not into that kind of reading, but I can ignore them. As such, the rest of the book was great.
Style: The authors writing style is great. He mixes in plenty of humor, puns, and even a few songs. The only negative is his love of kink scenes.
Grammar: He has great grammar. Honestly leaves me jeleous.
Story: Great story if you can ignore parts that have topics that bother you.
Character: This story has bar none the best character growth. He accurately portrays the characters growing in a believable manner.
Overall, a great story that needs an adult's mentality. 100%l not for kids and not for all adults either.

Just started reading this and so far I can honestly say that this is more enjoyable than I expected!
All the characters are interesting and memorable (except for the stupidly long names Snack and Arms have lol) and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing more adventures of Boxxy. Or would they be misadventures?
Either way you wrote a great story here!

The seven day binge of all things boxxy
by kujkujkuj Monday, November 27, 2017 9:29:24 PM
When i initially heard of this story i dismissed it as just another rehash of the litrpg monster "trope" one fateful day i was bored out of my mind with No more chapters in my story feed, and i decided. You know what to hell with it lets read this. Within the first few chapters the story had already set itself apart from many of Its brethren by completely forgoing the unneccesary reincarnation of some random dude into said monster. This made the monsters character as a monster more believeable than If some pudgy No-lifer died and had to be said monster. The only Real gripe i have is the short story arc after koras first summoning as it temporarily devolved into a smutfest of below average quality. Now at the end of my binge to catch up Im left wanting more of this higly entertaining story

I liked this one tremendously, for the first ~200 chapters. But then it got boring quite quickly. It is with some books, (and games) that you have that initial surprise, and excitement. Wheee this book is awesome, it is funny and I just can't stop reading. This one was like that as well. Everyone though loved the beginning, as it typically is with stories who have MCs with a growth cheat (kind of) and are nonhuman. Looking at 'Re:Monster' and 'Kumo desu ga nani ka?'.
I don't need to cover what went wrong, the top reviews already state that. But for me? It just got boring, less to laugh about, mostly boring scenes, barely any excitement. Sometimes though, it was really funny. So I think. For the sake of those small parts of fun and excitement. I'll read those last chapters. (I have 69 chapters left.) Come on give me a thumb up for the 'NICE'. I am not lying by the way. I am at chapter Cloak and Dagger 5 at the moment.
Anyway I think I'll give it a last try, or I'll force my way through those chapters just to finish this.
Well this was an useless review.
Edit: I finished the book. It was much better than I initially expected, which doesn't mean it was veery good. Just good. With the end it was easy to see, that ELLC was more of a mash-together of good ideas with a nice story in between. It suprised me how wholesome it ended. But I also kind of disliked the ending as it reaaally came out of nowhere. I mean come on there was almost no build up to that kind of ending.
Still it ended on a good note. While this no doubt isn't the best story because of the disconnected way it was written with some things coming out of nowhere it managed and deserves the good spot it is on, on RR.

Great but not perfect
by FireShard Tuesday, February 27, 2018 4:28:17 PM
(Writing Review as of Chapter 28)
Although this is a nice story, it is not perfect like people claim it to be. There are a few things that I don't like about this fiction however some of these problems may be down to personal taste.
I also belive that the game elements are done quite well in this story as it can sometimes be difficult to design a good system and this one makes fine work of it.
Relating to sexual content,I feel as though a story of this kind shouldn't be including sex but if it's done right it could be ok. The first sex scene is short and does not have much explicit details which is fine and feels like it should of stayed that way. The second is much more explicit butdoes not feel to out of placeand doesn't linger on it for too long. However the third scene is completely uncessary andfeels as though it is complete fan service while not really adding any value to the story, instead taking away value.
Style - I don't really have much of an opinion, it works well for the story.
Grammar - I found one or two minor errors but it's mostly perfect so I'm not going to fault you.
Story - So far there doesn't really seem to be a goal as the story just aimlessly progresses forward without any clear objective, and most of what has happened so far has been mostly character growth and development rather than any meaningful story.
Most of the story that has developed is primarily from the town near the dungeon however it feels like it swiftly nulled.
Character - The main character by itself is interesting at first and there is development, however I feel like it is a bit flat by itself which is fixed by having a contrasting personality of the familiar but can still feel dull on ocasion.
Although the second familar has not been in long I am not liking her so far, this might just be down to my preference of character.
Ocasionally they add a new character into the story which can add a bit more to the world building and adds a bit more overall, but the characters are removed far too qucikly to feel anymeanful connection with them.
Overall, although I am enjoying the Fiction there is nothing that is making me feel like I want to keep reading and it doesn't feel like I would be missing out if were to stop, but I can understand peoples reasons for liking it.

Anals bombs, TASTYCOOK or the Chaos God dialogues caused me no reaction at all. Though there were a few funny parts.

Overall, I just don't care about how the novel will progress and decided to stop reading for now. A bit of comedy and some perverted stuff aren't enough for me to keep reading right now.
